THE highly anticipated new country lifestyle magazine published by writer and photographer Annabelle Hickson has officially been launched, and the first edition is already flying off the shelves.

Galah magazine is a vibrant compilation of feature stories and photography from contributors all around rural Australia.

The magazine is founded and curated by Ms Hickson, a former metro journalist who became captivated by the country lifestyle after marrying a pecan farmer. She’s based in the Dumaresq Valley, near Tenterfield in northern New South Wales.

Eight thousand copies Galah are now available for purchase online or at various rural retailers.

The launch event was hosted in Goondiwindi by Lillian Dahl, founder of blossoming homewares and furniture retail store Harry & Kit.
